Junya Watanabe is a Japanese designer who began his career at Comme des Garçons, under the mentorship of Rei Kawakubo. His forward-thinking designs under the Junya Watanabe MAN label are renowned for their innovative use of modern synthetic fabrics.

The Filson x Watanabe MAN Vest is engineered with a MAN-style technical fabric and Filson’s original Mackinaw Heritage Plaid Wool. This fabric is our warmest wool, trusted for over a century to provide protection in cold, wet conditions. Cowhide-trimmed front pockets add a refined, elevated finish to this rugged classic.
